How can I send a partial refund which has been agreed between myself and buyer?

Assuming they've started a return select "View return details" beside the item, then you should see a link to "Offer a partial refund" > Continue > Enter the amount and send.

Buyer has not started a return but contacted me with details.  I had made a mistake with the item and offered a partial refund.  I remember this was possible but not how to do it.

Not sure as a Private seller you can offer a partial refund if a case is opened, it's usually for a full refund and a partial then,  can only be given once the case is closed,  which most buyers quite rightly,  would not wish to do.

Click on view order details top left of the item sold, then from More Actions select Refund this item.

Be very careful to enter the amount you wish to refund or you'll refund the whole amount,  do not press reset.

Check it is correct and send.

Should be possible as tressygirl says.

Link is in drop down menu, and full or partial refunds can be made up to 90 days from sale.

Proportion of fees paid by buyer will also be refunded by ebay, and likewise a proportion of any fees you paid.
