item received might be made of asbestos

Hi,

I ordered an item which was delivered via a postal service on time no problems, but upon opening the item it seems it may contain asbestos I've searched the help section in the contact for advice but cannot find any,  I have contacted the seller for more information but this will cost a lot of money to test therefore the only action is to dispose of it again at a cost, has anyone else gone through this.
