ebay becoming a joke

i recently sold an item on 11th of feb 2nd class standard with a ref number ,the item has been delivered as ive received feedback for it ,royal mail have not scanned postage label so no update.does this mean ive still got to wait 14 days for my money ? also where on earth has live chat gone so you can chat via typing messages 

back and forth,only option now is requesting a call back,which ive done estimated waiting time 1 minute,

20 minutes have past and im still waiting.finally this buyer protection fee nonsense charge is going to put buyers off altogether from purchasing.this feature has been there all the time so why start charging now?

like many people im considering packing this hobby up as its just getting more out of control..

You are not alone with this issue.

Seems it could be an issue with this new Buyers Protection Fee rules, as eBay's tracking for one,  is slow to update, and if Royal  Mail have not scanned the items correctly would delay that payout.

Now your item's payout may be subject to a 14 day hold,  unless the tracking updates, then the payout will be available 2 days after the delivery date.

Live Chat is there, type in a question in to Help & Contact tab top left of your homepage.

Click on any subject down left hand side, but not on the contact eBay,   and on the page which shows,  on the right in a blue box click on ' get help from automated assistant.
