eBay fault

eBay has decided I'm a bot and will not let me log out!

Many are experiencing this,  you are not alone. eBay are having major server issues,  they are aware and say they are trying to fix this asap.

It is intermittent so worth trying again a little later.

@smart_cart  Just a heads up that you should never sign off with your real name and email address. Any scammer can make a note of these and send some very realistic looking spoof emails now pretending to be from eBay.

I've notified a moderator and they'll remove it for you, but be vigilant now.

I don’t understand your comment. Remove what?

I don’t have to use any name to sign off. I just click “sign out” - I don’t enter anything.

Assuming you are responding via the email ebay sends you, your messages on these boards show your name and email address on the bottom.

If you come back to the thread and respond there it doesn't happen.

I have reported your most recent response to get that personal information removed.
