concerning message

Hi

I have just posted an item and got a message within 10 mins saying sold, but it says I have to copy a link to my browser and follow

I did the link and its asking verification but says I will need to enter my card details and others it dosn't seem right but i'm quite new to selling and this isn't how the first item I sold went

I am just not sure about it but don't want to miss the sale

Is there a way to speak to someone at Ebay

Re: concerning message

This sounds like a scam. You never need to give anyone your card details so do not, under any circumstances click on anything in the message.

Wait for 4 days and cancel the sale with "Buyer did not pay" and add them to your blocked list so they can't come back.

Do not hesitate to come back if you get any more of these, as it is possible that this scammer could come back under a different ID.

It's a scam.  Your item hasn't sold.

These messages are doing the rounds at the moment and ebay seems unable to stop them.
