collection issues

Hi there,

a buyer cancelled an order which was collection only (heavy item, have sold many the same before as collection, no problems at all), as he said he lived too far away and isn’t realise it was collection only (I’ve literally plastered it in the title, the description etc).

The buyer cancelled the order but he put the reason as being he ‘just didn’t like it’. As that was a false statement, I denied the request and told him to cancel again with the correct reason being that he was unable to collect, just to avoid any negative impact on my account. He did not ask to re-cancel or contact EBay his end for help and he is now asking for a refund but the case is showing as closed at my end.

Is there a way in which EBay can help him still cancel the order?

You could have cancelled due to problem with buyers address.

Has buyer paid and now been refunded?

If they paid, they can open item not received case, you then refund.

Canceling and refunding won't affect your account, unless ebay force it.

Buyers only get one go at a cancellation.
