Your buyer does not have any facility to mark the item as received.
Unfortunately, not listing the item as a collection item, results in no collection code . This is essential for a buyer to hand to a seller to scan, as this is the only proof the seller will have, to show the item was collected.
You will not be able to mark it as collected, which will result in your payment being held for a minimum of 14 days.
However, it also leaves open the option, if the buyer is dishonest, to open a case for item not received, and you'd have nothing to prove otherwise.

There is no solution, if you didn't follow Simple Delivery rules. You cannot now mark the item as collected.
Your money is safe , it will just be held for longer as you have no proof of collection.
I needed to tall you the pitfalls of selling an item without a collection code, so if you come across this again not to do this, but come to us, we'll explain the best way forward.
Thankfully most people are honest, so you won't come across any issues here!
