change of postage required by buyer

buyer has paid for tracked 48, but has asked for special delivery next day. I am happy to pay the difference, but I am unable to cancel the label after having activated it so I get paid for the tracked 48 postage. If I purchase a special delivery label from the post office, the parcel does not show as being delivered on Ebay and I won`t receive the money until it stated as delivered. Can anyone suggest anything?

If you don't use the original simple delivery label the buyer will automatically receive a full refund for it in 30 days.

If you buy different postage you'll be paying for that yourself.    If you decide to do that you can mark the item as dispatched by opening the original SD label.

Then change the tracking number via View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow > Add Tracking.   That has to be done on a desktop browser.
