bought a battery for my van from a seller ,in my ebay motors says fits your vehicle ,after 4 months battery was completely dead ,contacted motor world  said i bought the wrong battery so won't honour the 3 year warranty .gone back on ebay it still says compatible for youre vehicle ,was over £100 ,even if it was the wrong battery should have lasted more than 4 months

I agree it should have lasted more than 4 months and I think there is something fundamentally wrong with the way ebay works out if something will suit a vehicle, going by the number of similar complaints.

The problem is that ebay will not do anything once the 30 day money back guarantee has expired.

As the seller is presumably a business, and their listing tells you the battery is suitable, I would have a word with Citizens Advice about your options.
