cannot be delivered to your location

recently, in the past few weeks, when attempting to purchase anything gun related, even things like a case, at checkout it says this item cannot be delivered to your location. this is even if the seller is based in the UK as I am and the product is made in the UK and is obviously for sale as they are listed! whats the glitch, its so annoying that I can buy the same item from Amazon but not here!

It may be nothing to do with eBay. Sellers can choose not to deliver to particular regions in the UK. This usually involves remote areas or island, or Scotland.

Courier deliveries are more likely to be affected than Royal  Mail, as couriers often surcharge for delivery to remote areas, which RM is not allowed to do.

The fact this has only just started suggests a connection with eBays new "simple delivery" service, which I think involves mostly courier deliveries? (I've never used it myself.)

Thanks, but no, this is a new thing. Seems very odd, two weeks ago it happened on my iPhone app so I went to my laptop which I haven’t used for ages and it went through fine. I’m in mainland England. Tried that today and it doesn’t work on either. It’s something EBay has done. No problem, I’ll just use Amazon instead.
