add vat number as a buyer (not seller)

Hi community,

i have got business account on ebay and i need to have on my invoices invormation about my VAT number. I am not a seller, only buyer. Can you help how to do it?

Odd that you've had no replies yet.

Perhaps, like me, no-one can understand understand your question. Surely, if you're only using eBay for buying you won't be sending any invoices?

Just one extra point - it would be better not to buy items on a business account that are only intended for personal use. This may remove any staturory consumer protection that applies (business to business transactions are not covered).

yes, you are right, i want only buying and not selling, but i need to have on that invoices vat number...

Account from Nov. 2022 appears unused and cannot interact with any other account you may have.

Cannot imagine what you are trying to do ?? ... are you correctly registered with a valid UK VAT Number ??.

You are likely to encounter various difficulties if using an eBay UK registered Business account to sell from outside the UK ... Acceptable and Verified U K Banking account details with valid UK Addresses are now required for sending and receiving payments in the UK site.   Default UK VAT Import / Export rules will also be applied.

Suggest that you consider using the Global/International USA site which accepts accounts with differing shipping, payment and Banking methods from around the World  ... US site links are here >
