a Yay to ebay

So, I normally have questions or moans but today I just want to say yay to ebay for dealing with my return request in a manner that offered fairness to me, as the seller. I make a great effort to list my items with videos, lots of clear images and full descriptions of all the faults maybe falling short of offering a zoom call with potential buyers or a 10 minute personal presentation. Sorry dry humour,  I mainly sell antiques and used items.. A buyer asked for a return on the 4th Jan even though it had been delivered on 11th December. His request did not actually say anything pertinent but the section he used was for damage and not working. I checked and saw that he was trying to sell very similar items on his site so he had perhaps seen the price of mine and did not bother to read any of the description or look past the first image? Ebay told me to send a return label and contact them back when I had the item back with me to further my claim. I did and after a couple of minutes on hold the ebay rep told me that she could see that what I was saying was correct and I would not need to refund the buyer. She mentioned seller protection and to be very honest I did not believe this existed. The point of this thread is to have faith if you are a seller and contest this practice of returns for these type of items in questionable circumstances...thank you and Happy New Year---
