Yodel lost my parcel

Hi all, please help me. I’ve posted a parcel but my buyer did not received it. Buyer was polite waited a bit then asked me for the refund. I’ve done that but now I’m out of pocket £££ and parcel is lost. Yodel keep showing “attempting delivery” twice on different occasions. Buyer contacted yodel been told parcel lost but update says attempted delivery. What do I do now?
