Yet another simple postage question

Hi all, just so I can understand this, all of my (private seller) listings are low cost pin badges and are offered with free 2nd class postage.
Have I got to edit all my existing listings and adjust postage costs accordingly to comply with simple postage?

Yet another simple postage question

I think ebay will do the changing for you.   On their info it says:

Simple Delivery will apply to new eligible listings by private sellers in the UK, and from 7 April to any existing listings that are eligible.  If you selected buyer-paid postage, this will stay the same when your listings are updated.

I might be wrong but that sounds to me like it's going to happen automatically.   If not then happy days while it lasts.

Yet another simple postage question

Thanks for the reply.

I have spoken to ebay C/S since posting and was told my existing listings will stay the same and I won't have to do anything. But then he said simple postage will just apply to all of those listings automatically. I did say so I will have to absorb the difference between 2nd class and Tracked 48 postage cost then and he didn't understand what I meant.

I explained all my listings are low value and I state free UK postage via RM 2nd class large letter which costs me £1.55,  and asked can I still post via this 2nd class method and he said yes first of all then seemed to say not so I'm not sure I got a clear answer. I also queried why the discounted Royal Mail Tracked 48 postage costs more via eBay than it did before when Evri is removed from carrier options and got no reply.

I also queried the excluded low value item listings and he said he assumed it would mean £2 or £3 listings, so looks like there isn't a definative answer there either.

Doesn't look like this was very well thought out this one.
