Wrongful return request

I’ve sold an lp and the buyer has now requested a wrongful return request.

they are saying that there is a “small glue mark” on the lp sleeve caused by my packing.

the small glue mark is clearly seen on my listing photos so nothing to do with being damaged in the post which they are claiming.

I have replied this but fear that eBay’s automated response is just going to go in there favour despite being clearly false.

is there anyway of messaging eBay and getting a response from someone there ?

You need to accept the return, provide a label and refund when you get the item back.

Unless you specifically mentioned the mark in the description, the buyer has every right to return it.  With that sort of flaw, however small, it is a good idea to highlight it and provide clear photos showing the issue.

You can get a callback from Ebay Customer Services but they will just give you the same advice as I have.

Wrongful return request

On closer inspection of the photos they have sent some of the small marks that are on my listing are not even on the photos they have sent back. I’m starting to feel there is something fishy going on here !

They are also stating that the small amount of glue that they have highlighted can NOT bee seen in my listing photo where it clearly can ?

If that happens, then come back and ask for further advice.

You can't report a buyer because of what you THINK they MIGHT do.
