Wrong tracking number

Hello. Sold an item, choose simple delivery.   I sent the item using local post office and paid for tracked signed for.  I mistakenly clicked to generate a delivery label on the ebay site which has generated a different tracking number. The buyer has received item, how do i let ebay know that the item has been delivered with a different tracking number.

You can't let ebay know.

Why didn't you use the Simple Delivery label that the buyer paid for (they'll get a refund for it within 30 days if you didn't use it and bought your own postage instead)?

You cannot add your tracking number. If your buyer were to open an eBay item not received claim you could add it to that to prove delivery though.
