Im disputing delivery of a item as not arrived.seller has provided a tracking number and advised it has been delivered.when i check details on royal mail tracking i can see that it is a wrong tracking number, gone to a address in a totally different area to where i live.so both ebay and seller are saying it has been delivered as tracking shows, but not accepting that it is not my parcel.what can i do.

Tracking number may be correct & just delivered to wrong house.
As seller proved delivery, ebay support them.
Try your payment provider.

Tracking number shows it going to a sorting office in dorset, whereas i am in hertfordshire.i cant get exact delivery address as i dont know the postcode it has gone to.if i put my postcofe in,it says details are wrong.so the tracking number i have is not for my parcel as it is addressed totally wrong, not gone to a wrong address

You need to speak to Ebay Customer Services and get them to look at the tracking and acknowledge that the parcel may have been delivered, but not to you.
Because the system is largely automated, if there is tracking proving delivery, the seller will win the case.
You need to ask for human intervention.
