Wrong offer

Hi

recntly I posted an item on auction for sale and I got offer £12.50 from Alexander barber and I didn’t agree , and same guy offered £2.20 , and it seems that eBay sold it with out of my permission, how could that happened!!!

please advise and explain what happened??!

the item is £2 faulty coin .

Not sure what happened with the offer, but  you said you declined it?  Your item was in auction format starting at 99p.

 

You received 4 bids and the £2 coin sold for £2.20.

 

Be aware when listing items in auction format,  always start the auction for the lowest amount you are happy to receive it cannot sell for less.  If you only received one bid for this coin you would have had to sell it for 99p.

there was no £2.20 offer, £2.20 was the highest bid when your auction ended.

Hi

unfortunately this is the first time I sale an item with eBay auction and I don’t know how it’s work , so it’s just a mistake and more likely I will not use the auction again..hope you consider this issue please.

Ebay have many help pages for buyers and seller on ebay to view, available when clicking on the "Help & Contact tab" at the top of most ebay pages.
