Why are you killing my US Business with that Customs Blue Banner?

Ebay, I just found out by chance today from a US buyer that you are putting a banner on every one of my listings saying that US buyers will have to pay customs fees on the item. This is only true for some goods, depending on their duty status and where they were manufactured.

I only sell items which are zero rated for duty and were originally made in the USA. I ship using my own Royal Mail business account using the PDDP service and would have to pay any duty in advance if there was any. There isn't any duty to pay and yet you are crippling my business by telling US customers that there will be duty to pay when there is NONE!

I normally get a number of high value orders each week from the US and now I know why I have only had one in the last 6 weeks!!!

Why can't you change the banner to say "there may be duty" and ask sellers to update their shipping policy with details of whether they are paying the duty if there is any, or not?

I believe this has been going on for 6 weeks or more already and yet there has been no formal communication to UK sellers about this issue.  Why not???
