Why are eBay withholding payments ?

I recently sold items on eBay and they suddenly requested additional information, which I've provided 6 times and I'm still on hold - anyone know why ?

Why are eBay withholding payments ?

Reasons for these holds include new or infrequent selling, high-risk items, unusual account activity, and disputes or buyer reports of an issue.

Holds are typically lifted when tracking shows delivery, cases are resolved, or compliance requirements are met.

Contact eBay Customer Services explain you have sent the required information several times,  but is there perhaps some other information or requirement required from you.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

It seems odd that they should request the same information 6 times.

What did they ask you to provide?
