Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that since eBay introduced the "Buyer Protection Policy" and started to claw in money from buyers rather than hitting the sellers via listing fees, the buyers seem to be voting with their feet and are no longer purchasing via eBay?
I am seriously thinking that eBay might have run its course for me - simple delivery being foisted on us (until you work out how to dodge that and manage your own deliver preferences) was one of the first things to irritate me but now I think that buyers are expecting sellers to list for less or offer free postage in order to absorb the additional costs that eBay is taking from them.
Perhaps it's just me but I would be interested to know if other sellers have been experiencing a similar slowdown in sales and a reduction in the winning bid amounts for their auctions.
