A friendly message to anyone considering using the 3rd party application called Webinterpret.
On eBay’s help pages it clearly states it’s a free program to boots sales. Not True!
if you search in the help guides it’s says this. “The European Sales Booster (powered by WebInterpret) is a free programme to help sellers list their items internationally”
A fellow eBayer had the following to say.
They charge you initially $1 to sign up and then after a month next thing your getting and invoice for over $50. When enquiries were made they said you get put into a business plan or something like that but it’s too late to contest the invoice. There is no clear information given on how to cancel the service and in terms of the text it’s free ( very misleading)
they then keep on hounding for payment. Each month adding to the bill even though you’re not using their services and now. FINAL DEBT COLLECTION NOTICE you need to pay several $100’s in accumulated fees or judgment will be opened with local court to collect.
Don’t fall for their trap. The service is terrible, doesn’t work properly and messes up all your listings by duplication on multiple sites. It’s a Rip Off and shouldn’t be on eBay at all.
I posted the above on behalf of another eBayer as they have since decided to close their account due to this unscrupulous company which is an eBay partner.
Very Very Sad indeed. Terrible!!!
