Virgin media had my router removed from sale.

I had a new sealed virgin wireless router for sale.  Virgin media had it removed using the electronics policy relating to transmitting or receiving covert surveillance signals.

Either they are abusing the policy to stop people selling their routers, or admitting to using covert surveillance with their equipment in peoples homes.

It only cost me a quid at a boot sale, so I'm not really fussed. But it's the principle of the thing.

Any thoughts?

You cannot sell Virgin Media equipment,it is owned by VM and only loaned while you have a service with them and should be returned when you end your contract.

VM will ask eBay to remove any of their equipment they see for sale.
