I posted a while ago about being unable to link a new Virgin money business account to my Ebay business account. I’ve recently found a thread that suggests someone has had success by entering their bank details manually. Sort code starting in 82. The business bank account is in the name of the business not my first name and surname. Do my account details on Ebay have to be changed from my first/last name to the business name? If yes, is this possible, Ebay account details require first name and surname, the business name is one word, ebay won’t let me leave one name box empty?
A second question: I also want to open a personal Ebay account for non business items, reading other posts it seems that people have also had success with this by entering their virgin bank details manually, I have a virgin personal account, M Plus current, sort code on my account again starts with 82. This is in my name. I tried to open an Ebay personal account once before so that I could have one account for business and one for personal use, Ebay automatically opened the new account as a second business account? I’ll try once more, is there an issue with having a personal account on ebay if you already have a business account?
