Over the last 24/ 48 hrs 20% VAT is being shown as an add on on my listing pages on some items.
If it's not showing on my listings when i click on an item i am selling the price shown as i listed it jumps up by 20% which i assume is again VAT. I am not VAT registered and i am in the UK. Another seller i am following also has " + 20% VAT will apply " under his auction bids so whats going on. This is a major problem

It's a glitch of some sort because I looked at a list of your items for sale and saw a 20% VAT will be added notice, then I looked at a listing and that message wasn't on it, then I clicked back to the list of items and the 20% VAT notice had disappeared.
So, I doubt that a buyer will be charged VAT, but this could put them off clicking on a listing and bidding/buying.
Maybe report it to eBay? I’ve found that the easiest route to contact eBay Customer Services is via the link below, you can select to talk with them via live chat or request a call back:

It is a major problem and ebay is aware of it, but seems unable to fix it.

The way around this that i have potentially solved and has worked so far but obviously wont be possible if you have thousands of items listed is the following :
Revise all your listings, you dont have to change prices etc as your original price should appear in the relist format. The 20% only seems to appear when you see your listings from a buyers point of view. Scroll down your item in relist format then click on relist with displayed fees or it may just say " save it " . Give it a few mins or more to update and the 20% should have been removed from the listing and postal price
