Unjustified negative feedback

Firstly thanks to the members that have offered help so far but I have 1 more question.

I sold an item that the buyer says is faulty so I saud I'd ask ebay what the best course of action was going forward and was as helpful as I always am in trying to rectify the matter.

Buyer wanted to keep the item and wanted a refund sating that I had stated 'no returns' on my advert.

I told the buyer to open a case against me on ebay to ensure he got a refund but he sent me a message saying he wasn't happy about this?

I have received a message from ebay to respond to the refund but I've now seen the buyer has left a bad review on my page.

Surely any feedback should he left after the matter is dealt with? I read that it's difficult to get negative feedback removed ~ it's worth noting that I believe all feedback is good if it's factual and justified but what can I do?

Pleased that all of my deals have been with good people but this has really left me wondering what protects a seller on here.

Many thanks

Unjustified negative feedback

The wording of the neg implies they were after a refund without return.   It says:

I now have to return the camera although in the ad it says seller does not accept returns. ....  A refund would be the best option in this case disappointing.

That would be classed as feedback extortion which may be grounds for removal.   So scroll down to the very bottom to Request Feedback Removal on here:

You can also contact ebay using callback on here:

Best of luck.

That's fantastic advise, thank you very much. I like to do things by the book but I'm now thinking this whole deal was a bit underhand to say the least ~ I almost feel like I've been singled out.

I was really helpful to the buyer and thought we built up a good rapport.... Lesson learnt.

Cheers
