Unable to mark item as sent, no option under More Actions

I had 2 similar items up for sale and accepted Best Offer on each from the same buyer. They were charged Simple Delivery postage on each item. Both items were small and when packed together were still within the postage weight and dimensions for one of the Simple Delivery labels. EBay customer services said to send both using one label and the buyer would be refunded for the second lot of postage.

 

i sent the items together but cannot add the tracking number to the second item, cannot mark the second item as dispatched and cannot mark the second item as delivered - I know it has been because the other item is marked as delivered and the buyer has left feedback on it.

 

My money is not being paid to me and presumably the buyer hasn’t got their Simple Delivery postage refunded.

 

Other posts on here say there is an option under More Actions on an order to mark it as dispatched, but there isn’t  - I’ve looked using my computer and my tablet.

 

How do I get this item marked as dispatched and delivered and get my money?

If items are purchased separately,   they should be sent separately,  so you receive 2 tracking numbers . Or, the orders cancelled and relisted together on one listing,  therefore one valid tracking number produced.

 

You cannot mark the second item as sent / tracked,  and for that item,  there may be a wait of 14 days before payout is released.

 

Once tracking shows delivery payment for the one item it covers,  will be sent to your payment summary,  2 days after that delivery date.

Unfortunately I realise that now, but the eBay Customer Support team told me to send them together when I asked them what I should do about the 2 items only needing one lot of postage

Yep,   and this is the unfortunate thing with eBay CS,  some agents just do not know the rules,  and give out information which ultimately can have a detrimental affect on the buyer / seller asking.

 

Not blowing our own trumpet here, 🎺,  but do please come to these boards with any query you may have  the many experienced members here will more than likely have the correct answer which is sometimes completely opposite to what CS may serve!

Yes - I'm realising that.  I want to list some more items and had some questions about those and Simple Delivery which I thought the CS agents had given me answers to, nut I think that I'll start another thread to make sure what I've been told is correct before going ahead and listing.
