Unable to mark an item as dispatched

I’m trying to manually mark an order as dispatched, but the eBay system just replies 'the selected orders are not eligible for this action'.  It’s a low value order, sent Royal Mail (with a postage stamp) & no tracking, so I cannot add any valid tracking. I did not use simple delivery, so it was not automatically set as dispatched.

The only way to mark as dispatched if you don't use SD is to generate/open the original SD label.   It will remain unused and be refunded to the buyer in 30 days.

I process several orders a week not using SD & have never encountered this problem before, with any other order.

Is it perhaps because it is a combined postage order, from an international buyer, using GSP ?

Could be.   The alternative for a combined purchase would be to cancel the current transactions with the buyer's agreement, and relist the items on one listing with one postage for them to buy again.
