Unable change delivery method

Does anybody have any ideas how resolve a seller / buyer issue?

buyer selected evri has delivery on item

has the guy only lives mile from me i delivered the goods in person to him

buyer decent chap we both left each other feedback with great service etc etc

but listing still shows as evri and we are unable to change it to collected.

I even put note on to say item been delivered in person this morning

any ideas how to resolve this and get ebay to release the funds

Strictly speaking you should cancel and relist as collection so the buyer will receive a QR code to give you to confirm they have the item.    But that will involve refunding the payment and them paying again which may be a bit risky.    If you do nothing you will get the payment after 14 days.   The cost of the unused postage label will be refunded to the buyer (assuming they paid for it) in 30 days.
