I don't sell much on eBay and I think I've confused the tracking system.
I sold an item, but didn't use the pre paid label method, I posted it the old fashioned way and used special delivery and supplied the info to the buyer, I went to try and put this tracking number into eBay but I didn't see an option? Anyway when I was trying to figure it out, I selected the pre paid label option and it generated its own tracking number, now I can't mark the item as delivered because eBay has the wrong tracking information. The buyer has received the item and says he also can't say it's been delivered? Will this affect payment on my end or do I need to rectify it ?
Thanks

You will get paid but may have to wait up to 14 days.
There is not any way to amend the tracking details and buyers can't confirm items have been delivered.

Thanks, I was worried it would be held indefinitely or something. Thanks for clearing that up

When you use simple delivery postage, it covers up to £750 and gives better protection for items not received.
