The item I sold not saying it’s not been delievered when it has.

I sold an item a week ago which I put as shipped. I keep trying to put tracking number on which doesn’t seem to exist? Spoke to the buyer who confirmed he recieved the item and left positive feedback but now my funds are not getting released as the item is still “depatched.” I’m trying to speak to eBay with no luck as their automated system is gash.

Are you trying to add tracking into your  my ebay/seller hub order details?

The ebay sites tracking is not working/updating and ebay are aware,but if your tracking shows as delivered on the postal services own website then ebay can release your payments for you, eBay Customer Service

If you send items with just the equivalent of a stamp on, even if you buy the label from Ebay, they are not tracked.

You will have to wait until 14 days after the transaction to get paid.

I have the tracking number is on there. But when you click on it, Royal Mail website says there’s been a problem while retrieving

It was a 48 hour tracked pre paid label I got. Which was put on in the shop. The code I got won’t work on the Royal Mail website too

It sounds like the ebay sites postal tracking, and there postal partners RM, are looking into the same site issues and creating a bigger problem.

You can report a technical issue to ebay,otherwise I'm afraid its a 14 day wait for payment 😣

If it is a 16 digit code (maybe beginning 0210) have another try at putting it into the RM website.

The letters are capitals.  They don't use the letter 'O' - all of the 0's are zeros.

Don't put the dashes in.  Just enter the letters and numbers as a continuous line.

Apologies if you already know all that.
