The Jury Is In ...........................

Having read  many of the posts regarding Buyer Protection Fee, inability to send invoices, Global Shipping not working and the icing on the cake Simple Delivery, I have decided that I am taking all my listings down on 6th April.

There has been plenty of discussion around what and won't be required to use Simple Delivery, inability to specify correct package details and many scenarios that could occur such as the use of courier's you wouldn't dream of using randomly being applied by Ebay. My take on the lack of clarity on all of these recent updates from Ebay, is that the implementation of these policies is being developed on the hoof and Ebay don't appear to have remotely thought through the impact of these changes on their customer (sellers and buyers alike) base.

My intention is to watch from sidelines in April to see if any clarity arises once Simple Delivery is made mandatory and decide whether or not I can cope with the changes. If it all looks too hard, I doubt I will be coming back.

I think you need do nothing, your items are under £10, and will be exempt from the dreaded Simple Postage, which causes sellers so many problems.

I will be watching, ebay are unlikely to admit they have not thought anything through, so I will stick to cheap items. Why ebay think pushing Evri is good for sellers I do not know.
