I recently bought something from ebay and need to submit an expense claim for it. Unfortunately the downloadable invoice is incorrect (it only shows the buyers fee and VAT paid on it but doesnt include the principle amount in the total).
Does anyone know how to request a new invoice showing the full amount in the total. None of the options supplied by online support allow me to request this.
I've attached a grab of the invoice.
thanks

The heading Net amount on the invoice you have shown shows the full amount. You bought 9 items at a fiver each = £45.
The vat breakdown etc is for the fees the seller paid etc. (this is the fee that eBay /sellerhas to pay HMRC etc

Only seller can supply VAT invoice.
But as this account is not a business one, they won't see a need to.
Have you contacted seller?

Thanks for replying. I just need an invoice or receipt of any kind -
doesnt need to be a tax one. Just something confirming I made the purchase.

Go to item in purchase history, click View order details.
You can select print.

Ok, thanks very much for clarifying.
I'll try putting it through to Accounts and see what they say

OP in your last response you are still in time to edit your post - remove your personal details, this is a public forum, not a wise idea to post them!
