Sold one item and will be the last, I had enough selling on ebay. Is their any point selling on ebay if it not free. ebay take  to much selling fees including promoted listing, for  themselves and leave sellers making no profit or money after deductions. It’s also Lacking knowledge and values absolutely *bleep* platform and *bleep* staff

Private sellers don't pay fees, buyers pay a buyer protection fee.

You don't have to promote your items, to me it is a waste of money.

While I agree with what  tobiasd4 has said about promotions being a waste of money, ebay did announce free listing and free selling, but continually now keep plugging using promotions to increase views.

Even selecting a lesser amount than the very high fees ebay suggest, up to 14% I have seen, produces the silly comments that a higher rate is needed to really get any sales.

Free Listings and Free Selling is just  a scam, with promotions necessary to hopefully get sales and  increase fees for ebay.

Fees can be higher than before this grand idea of Free, but you still need to pay, was introduced.
