Simple devery

I received an email from eBay telling me not to ship an item due to a technical issue with simple delivery. They said they’d get back to me and they haven’t. Anyone else had issues like this? It’s only a £5 sale but it’s still odd

If it's a £5 item you may be able depending on category just opt out of SD and use your own postage, bought online or from your PO.

I’ve already paid for a postage label unfortunately. Cancelling the whole thing seems like the only option. The buyer hasn’t contacted me yet so maybe there’s something else going on

If you don't use that label you can be refunded, but it takes 30 days to reach you.

  • If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days

  • If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.  Also ensure you add the replacement tracking number of the service used, and it shows delivery.
