Simple delivery

I have posted an item through Royal Mail large letter with proof of postage instead of eBay’s new simple delivery option. It is still showing that I need to dispatch item as I cannot mark as posted in the drop down box. I did contact eBay but was told it was ok. It is still showing as dispatch is now overdue. How do I remove

Have you opened and downloaded the Simple Delivery label?

That should mark the item as sent even if you don't use the label.

Follow @jckl1957 's instruction to open that Simple Delivery label,  and as said,  it will mark the item as dispatched.

You cannot now add any new tracking,   eBay suggest sending the buyer a message with those tracking details.  If a case is opened later for item not received,   you will be able to add those tracking details.

A refund is sent to whoever paid for the SD label:

• If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days

• If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.

Depending how you sent this item and the weight there will be either a tracking number beginning generally 0210 or a 16 digit code on the label. Message the buyer this number.

I posted by Royal Mail large letter instead of simple delivery parcel price. I covered the postage on listing so buyer hasn’t paid for postage. Item is still showing as overdue but I cannot see how to mark as posted. I have messaged the buyer to advise that I’ve posted.

Download the label, that will mark as dispatched, then cancel the label to be refunded.

Thats all you can do along with any tracking details/delivery confirmation codes on the RM label (these will be listed on your receipt.

You have used a desktop (its better than the app which can be unreliable) gone to the item clicked the drop down box, there (I dion't know) with mark as dispatched.
