Do we have to do the simple delivery? i want to send a signed football card 2nd class P&P at £1. eBay won't let me and are charging £2.70 simple delivery, my customers are cancelling the orders due to the high postage costs. Is there any other options? Please help or i may have to shut down my account due to excessive postage costs.

Sorry, Simple Delivery is mandatory for Private sellers.
However, what is the value of your card? If it is under the value of £10 , it will exempt from SD and you will be able to use Custom Postage for that item.

Hi, thank you for the response, all my cards are well under £10 in value. it still says simple delivery and doesn't give me the option of custom postage.

Read this and at the end “ opt out “ and link to list of categories. Collectables is probably your best bet if you can find a suitable category.

It is all down to categories, why some and not others only ebay knows.

There is no opt out link,John1297576 meant for you to read the section uner 'opting out' to find a category where custom postage became available to you.
If you cannot find a suitable category you can add your postage to the price and offer free postage but send using your own 2nd class then claim a refund of the simple delivery fee within 14 days of sale
