Simple delivery label not sufficient

I had an interesting one today with eBay’s ripoff Simple Delivery prepaid labels.

Took the package to the post office, showed them the qr code, which they rejected due to the cost being insufficient to cover the postage.  Had to pay the total amount myself & was told to contact eBay.

Been going around & around with unhelpful chatbot, no help, no human support.

Think I’ll go back to selling at a boot market in future!

You should be able to add the new tracking number from the More Actions dropdown menu or View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow and change the tracking.   That needs to be done on a desktop browser.

After that you can cancel the original label here:

Or if the buyer paid for it it will be refunded to them automatically in 30 days.

Even if you cannot manage to do the above the payment will be released anyway in 14 days.
