I have items listed on eBay that have been there a while. I sold one the other month and used the royal mail website to arrange for them to post this for me. But this time, when I did the same thing, it wouldn't let me update the tracking number. I've since figured out, I was supposed to use Simple Delivery. I had no clue what this was. The previous item was under £20.00 so Simple Delivery wasn't an option. I've arranged for the item to be picked up by Royal Mail tomorrow and I've messaged the buyer that tracking number. BUT eBay has emailed me the QR code and address label. They've automatically marked the item as dispatched with a different tracking number. The item is going to be posted tomorrow but under a different tracking number. How do I update this? It will look as though I haven't posted it when I have but just under a different tracking number which it wouldn't let me input.
