Setting up Variations

Hi

I have a Business Account and wish to set up some variations on some of my listings, eg, sizes and quantities.  When I create a listing, I have this message in the relevant part of the page ... "Variations are unavailable for this listing. Eligibility is limited to qualifying item categories, Buy It Now pricing formats and other criteria".

Please can you tell me what the qualifying item categories and other criteria are so that I can put variations in my future listings?
