I sold an item on Saturday to someone with a 100% positive feedback rating. They have completely failed to respond to my messages regarding payment and collection. Upon reading the feedback comments, they are all negative. After cancelling the order and trying to leave negative feedback, I find it will only allow a positive note against the account even though I would like it to be negative as this person is just a waster. Has this person manipulated his/her account or is this an ebay thing. It's very frustrating dealing with wasters.

Sellers can only leave positive feedback and positive comments for buyers.

Any sellers who have left a positive 'green dot' with a negative comment have broken Ebay rules.

They have also increased this buyer's number of positive feedbacks.

When buyers don't pay, after 4 complete days, so on day 5 after the sale, the option to cancel using 'buyer did not pay' becomes available.

If sellers cancel for that reason, the buyer gets a non-payment strike which lasts a year.

In 'buyer requirements' you can set up your account to automatically block bids from buyers who have two or more non-payment strikes. This method works. Leaving positive feedback does not.

Stop sending payment reminders as this resets the invoice and allows more time to pay --- Just use the Unpaid transaction cancellation correctly after 4 and within 30 days and block them from returning --- there is no option given to leave Negative feedback for buyers >

Wow, I haven't sold anything on ebay for a while, when did they stop sellers from giving buyers negative feedback? Seems like it has gone down hill since I last sold anything on here.
