Hi! 

completely new to eBay, and I’ve just sold one of my items. It’s quite an expensive item and it’s due for pickup with courier tomorrow morning, but I can’t see any funds to my eBay account / in my bank account. Can anybody help me on what I should do? Don’t really want to send it without payment to me first!

As a new seller, you are subject to payment hold.

But if ebay have said buyer has paid, you must post item ASAP. 

Even regular private sellers have to wait several days after posting item for money to be released.

Money never goes direct to your bank account, you need to find PAYMENTS, look on SELLER HUB top right and click MORE. Then payments all transactions. 

You should then see the money and whether it is on hold and when it should be released.

As said money does not go to bank, you have to withdraw it, or if left is automatically transferred quarterly.

Once you are established as a seller with a track record, money is no longer held, but released within 24 hours.
