In short i had to return an item due to the buy opening a return request stating the item was missing something it never came with. In the pictures and description it was clear what it came with.
I spoke with ebay and they agreed they are lying about the returning the item and abusing the buyers protection scheme.
I was told i had to pay for the return postage and accept the item return cause they set it up and they could do nothing about it.
I was then advised to report them and was told to get a full refund for the return postage.
Item was returned and setup the dispute for the return postage. I was told this could take up to 14days. 14 days pass and i call ebay again due to not receiving my refund. I was then told it takes up to 21 days. I wait the 21 days and still nothing, so i called them again to be told this time its 60 days to wait for a refund.
Does anyone know what i can do. Im always honest about things i sell and i have been messed around by the buyer and several ebay staff lying.

I'm afraid yet again, Customer Services gave the wrong advice. You Do Not pay for the return postage if you receive an item not as described.
You open a case for this citing... ' Item Does Not Match Description or Photos. The seller then has to accept the case and provide a return label if they wish the item to be returned. They have 3 day to do this, if they don't you escalate the case, eBay step in and force the refund. That is the correct procedure.
I am very sorry but your were very badly advised, as the 30 day timeline has lapsed you cannot now claim from eBay ( where on earth did they get 60 days from ??) and you need to try your payment provider now for help with your refund.

May I just confirm who told you about a 60 day wait for a refund, was it the seller or was it eBay Customer Services?

I think the confusion is caused by using 'return' instead of 'refund' in the first sentence of the OP's post.

How did you 'set up the dispute for the return postage'?
As far as I know you have to report the buyer for misuse of the money back guarantee and then ebay 'may' consider crediting you for the postage. It's by no means guaranteed.
