Seller charged too much postage

On my recent purchase I paid £6.65 postage as set by seller. According to postage label they only paid £3.95 can I claim it back? Notified seller but no answer.

Seller charged too much postage

eBay do not get involved in postage disputes.

You have messaged the seller, that's all you can do,  but cannot force them to repay you the excess postage you paid.

You can leave appropriate feedback but you must be careful how you phrase it, as the postage cost was clearly marked and you accepted this when paying.

No you cannot claim it back - that is now something between you and the seller. I would politely drop the seller a message asking if they would make a small partial refund etc. You have to remember the seller will have to pay for the packaging, time to post office etc.

When leaving fb, one of the star ratings is for postage.

It should be possible to work out whether postage quoted is reasonable, before buying,  but as said, by buying and  paying you agreed to the postage.
