Seller cancelled order, lost .

My offer on an item won , but the seller cancelled the order, he has lost the item! But the item is still in my basket asking for payment, which I cannot remove, have messaged eBay with no luck on removing the item, but they message me to say it's been cancelled by the Seller, any idea what to do?

Surely any item in your basket can be removed/deleted. You say you made an offer, so why is  it in your basket in the first place, it should be in your purchases marked as canceled. You cannot delete from purchases but should be able to hide.

Buyer gets penalised  for not completing sales, with a defect and no refund of selling fee. You;can also leave feedback.
