Depending on what you say depends on whether ebay will remove.
If you buy a fake, you open a not as described case, to get a full refund. Too many of these and ebay eventually notices.
When leaving feedback, keeping it brief is best, “very unsatisfactory transaction” says it all, but marking down the star rating, does get taken into account. Ebay does not expect less than 4.7, so if all dissatisfied buyers marked with 2, seller would soon be in trouble.
The problem with fakes, is that ebay never sees the item that is sold so cannot judge claims of being fake, so it is up to buyers to use the tools that are available to damage seller’s record.
