How long has it been since you paid?

PayPal Buyer Protection for items that aren't as described is 30 days from payment date.

How many weeks?? If you don't tell us when and how you paid it's hard to help you.

If it's gone beyond 30 days from delivery it's too late to claim any refund from either.

If it's from the seller who recently left you feedback, they're in China. Sellers in China often use delaying tactics to string buyers along until it's too late for a refund through eBay.

If you paid or funded the payment from a credit or debit card your card issuer may be able to help.

Otherwise, if the seller is in China they are outwith UK statutory consumer rights so there's probably nothing else you can do.

Like most members, you probaly didn't read section 2 of the user agreement, where eBay even warns buyers that "they do not guarantee the existence, quality, safety or legality of items advertised, or the truth or accuracy of descriptions". Who would buy from a shop that stated this? eBay is a jungle.

eBay's own money back guarantee is often your best or only protection, so for your own sake PLEASE read the conditions and time limits, see: https://pages.ebay.co.uk/ebay-money-back-guarantee/
