Royal mail drop off box

Hi , I've recently sold an item and I had to drop it off at a parcel box, unfortunately it's not arrived and I've had to refund the buyer, I've messaged royal mail but I'm still awaiting a reply. I think it may be still in the locker as the tracking  information hasn't updated. Just want either my parcel back or compensation .

Sorry but you've done this the wrong way round.   With Simple Delivery (assuming you used it) you are protected if the item is lost/damaged in transit. That means ebay pay the refund, not you, when the buyer opens a claim.   You would have kept the payment.

Not sure ebay will do anything now you've refunded but it's worth contacting them to see what they say.  You can ask them to call you from here:
