I purchased what turned out to be a fake aftershave, I requested a refund which was accepted and was provided a Royal Mail returns label. My problem is Royal Mail are refusing to accept it because it's opened and not in it's original packaging. I have asked the seller to provide me with an alternative company (Evri).no response from them. Am I going to have to pay to return it myself with a different company.

Evri don't carry perfumes at all because of their flammable nature.
Lots of sellers seem to use Royal Mail to send partly used, unboxed perfumes - which should not be sold on Ebay and certainly should not be sent using RM which has strict conditions about posting perfumes.
I think you need to contact Ebay Customer Services and explain that you are not able to use the label provided.
It may be that they will refund you without you needing to return the item.

Have you opened a formal Return case with eBay --- not just through messages ? --- If not, see here >
No need to further contact Seller --- You only have 30 days after delivery date given to open an official 'Item not as described' case below --- follow the instructions carefully and escalate case to eBay on day 4 for their assistance in obtaining a full refund >

Otherwise > Your Bank / Card issuer should advise re:- possible Chargeback/Refund.

When did you receive it? As the feedback you have left if for this item says within last 6 months which is too late for an eBay case to be opened.
You will have great difficulty finding a UK courier who will carry aftershave particularly a fake one as they wont be able to tell how flammable it is, certainly none of the mainstream carriers will generally accept perfumes/aftershave for delivery from private sellers.

Hi, I received it on the 24th December, didn't contact seller, applied for a refund same day via INAD giving reason it was fake. I'm guessing it was the seller that accepted to give the refund. I took it to the Post Office, asked what it was inside the package, it was a definite refusal from RM. I'm not going to lie.
I only have until the 12th to return it.
Foolishly I paid £125 for this, and did naively believe the seller when I asked if it was a genuine perfume. Lesson learnt. I'll try and contact Ebay, what is the best way to do this.

If you open an eBay case it is unlikely that the Perfume will need to be returned as having a hazardous content.

Hi Guys, I spoke with an Ebay adviser, she was really nice, first asked me to securely package it and send it, I said I wasn't prepared to do it as it was hazardous and counterfeit and it's my name that was on the label. The lady agreed to give me a refund, in turn close the case.....thank you so much for your advice, learnt a very valuable lesson.

Well done you.
That is far too much money to lose.
There are a lot of complaints about fake perfumes on the site - maybe go to a 'proper shop' next time you want to treat yourself.
