Royal Mail Pick Up Printer Broken

Hi, Royal Mail was due to collect 4 prepaid ebay labels today, but their printer was broken and they said all they can do is collect them tomorrow, and I have to rebuy the labels.

But when trying to cancel the label on Ebay, it says it's not possible to do. All I want to do is effectively cancel and reorder the labels for tomorrow. Or cancel the labels entirely so I can buy them manually from Royal Mail.

As anyone had any issues like this in the past?

You'll need to buy them now from Royal Mail, as the other option would involve cancelling all 4 orders,  refunding,  relisting for the buyer to buy again, too much hassle.

You cannot now add any new tracking,   eBay suggest sending the buyer a message with those tracking details.  If a case is opened later for item not received,   you will be able to add those tracking details.

A refund is sent to whoever paid for the SD label:

• If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days

• If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery
